Breaking: Adnan Januzaj Signs A New Five Year Deal With Manchester United

Manchester United is delighted to announce that Adnan Januzaj has signed a new five-year contract to June 2018. – reports the club’s official website today morning.

This will come as a major relief for the Red Devils fans as it has put an end to Januzaj‘s transfer talks and the possibility of yet another Paul Pogba situation. Adnan Januzaj has caught everyone’s eyes this season. From the impressive pre-season performances to his first team debut to have been called as the next No.7, the young Belgian has come a long way this season. When almost all the eyes were on Wilfried Zaha, the rise of Januzaj has been an added joy for the United fans.

The 18-year old scored his first two goals for Manchester United in his very first United start against Sunderland. The new deal will keep him at Old Trafford until June 2018.

Talking to the press after signing his new deal, Adnan Januzaj said:

“It’s a great thrill to be able to sign for Manchester United. Since arriving here I have always felt like this was the right club for me. This season has been great for me – going on the pre season tour, making my debut in the Community Shield win at Wembley and then breaking into the team at Sunderland – it’s like a dream. I want to work hard now and establish myself as a Manchester United player.”
