Bould: We Lost Momentum After International Break

In the after match interview, Arsenal’s assistant manager Steve Bould admitted that Arsenal are not playing in a way they wanted to play after the international break.

Steve Bould: We look jaded after the international break

He said,

“We haven’t played anything like we can, that’s the big disappointment.”

“We looked lazy in attack, I don’t know why that is. Coming off the international break we haven’t performed really. I don’t know if that’s the reason but we definitely look jaded”

“The team looked really sharp and confident at the West Ham game and since then we’ve looked jaded. Maybe we are missing some momentum. We need to pick it up again, we’ve got a really tough game on Saturday, regardless of positions in the table. We found that out last weekend so it’s going to be tough.”

“We’ve lost our home record and of course the fans are frustrated. We are too. We don’t like losing football games. We have to pick ourselves up.”
