Bolasie and Tosun to start – Predicted 4-2-3-1 Everton line-up to face Newcastle United

Predicted Everton Line-up To Face Newcastle United In The Premier League

Everton head into the game against Newcastle United on Monday on the back of three games without a victory. Sam Allardyce will be desperate to defeat the Magpies, who are on a great run of form of late.

The Toffees are ninth on the table, two points adrift of 8th-placed Leicester City, who were held to a 0-0 draw by Southampton on Thursday.

The game against Newcastle comes as a chance for Everton to move above Leicester.

Probable Everton XI

Manager: Sam Allardyce

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Jordan Pickford (GK)

Pickford has been stellar for Everton in an otherwise disappointing campaign in the Premier League. He will be determined to impress against Newcastle.

Seamus Coleman (RB)

An injury setback forced him to be sidelined but Coleman has now attained full fitness and is looking sharp once again.

Phil Jagielka (CB)

The veteran has not been at his best this season but will be hoping to put in a solid display on Monday.

Michael Keane

Michael Keane (CB)

Keane has struggled to find his feet at Everton since moving from Burnley at the start of the season. However, he will be hoping to step up in the final few fixtures.

Leighton Baines (LB)

Baines has endured an injury-hit season but he is now back and will play a crucial role on the left for the Toffees.

Morgan Schneiderlin (CM)

Schneiderlin has blown hot and cold this season. The Frenchman has either been exposed by inconsistency or by his laidback attitude this campaign but will be hoping to finish the season on a high.

Wayne Rooney

Idrissa Gueye (CM)

Gueye is a top tackler in the Premier League and brings a lot of energy as well as stability in the Everton midfield. He is a sure starter on Monday.

Theo Walcott (RW)

Walcott has made a telling impact at Everton since moving from Arsenal in January. He is quick, diligent and keeps the ability to find pockets of space behind the opposition defence. He should start on the right-wing this weekend.

Wayne Rooney (CAM)

Rooney has played several roles for Everton this season but has lacked the cutting edge. Although he has scored in double figures, the ex-Manchester United man needs to show more urgency and responsibility for his boyhood club.

Cenk Tosun

Yannick Bolasie (LW)

Bolasie possesses blistering pace and trickery which makes him such a dangerous customer to deal with. The Congolese has returned to the team after a long-term injury and he will look to guide Everton to all three points.

Cenk Tosun (ST)

The high-profile signing from Besiktas endured a tough start to life in the Premier League but seems to have picked up the pace lately. Tosun will be determined to continue his good goalscoring exploits.
