Borussia Dortmund attacker Henrikh Mkhitaryan has been linked with a move to the Gunners for some time now, however a recent update has surely turned things the other way round for Arsenal.
According to the player agent Mino Raiola, Mkhitaryan may move to the Old Trafford this summer rather than head to the Emirates. The update provided by the Raiola states that the player is ready to seal the deal with United.
While Arsenal fans may wonder what really happened here, one cannot ignore the fact that the player shares his agent Raiola with the Swede super star Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who is already set for a move to the United this summer.
The Armenian player has 23 goals and 32 assists to his credit for Dortmund last season and is sure to be a welcome addition to United, boosting incoming manager Jose Mourinho’s attacking option further.
However, a hurdle for United, according to reports from ESPN, BvB CEO Watzke has stated that Mkhitaryan will stay at the club for another season and will head out as a free agent.
