Manchester United have reportedly completed the signing of high rated defender Lee O’Connor. The Red Devils will be signing the defender from Villa FC. The teen is an attacking full back and will be joining United officially in July.
United are expected to be one of the busiest clubs during the transfer window, as they plan to build a strong squad that can win the Premier League title next season.
The 15-year-old player was the captain of Ireland’s Under-16 side and was also declared as the player of the year for the Under-15s last month.
Manchester United seem to have moved fast in acquiring the services of the youngster, who will be joining Nicky Butt at the United’s academy imminently.
The United currently are in the fifth place for the Premier League title and after beating Chrystal Palace 2-0, hopes are high for the Red Devils to finish top four this season.
