Manchester United Transfer Updates
Premier League giants Manchester United will reignite their interest in Tottenham striker Harry Kane at the end of the current campaign, as per the latest reports. The England international was wanted by the Red Devils and a move to Old Trafford looked on the cards in the summer transfer window. However, Louis van Gaal’s side could not get a deal done back then.
However, a move was not finalized, though United’s offer of approximately £25m was well below what Spurs wanted for the 22-year-old attacker.
United have had their share of problems up front with skipper Wayne Rooney struggling to make a major impact for Van Gaal and too much work to do on the shoulders of big-money summer signing Anthony Martial, who is just 19.
It was being reported by beIN SPORTS that the Dutch manager is quite keen on pushing through a deal for Kane, as he considers the Tottenham forward as a long-term replacement for Wayne Rooney, who is going through a rough patch at the moment.
