Borussia Dortmund player Neven Subotic has been linked with Liverpool since Manager Jurgen Klopp moved into the club. Having earlier managed Subotic during his time at Bundesliga, Klopp has a liking for the player and is willing to bring him to the Anfield.
According to the Bild, Subotic opened only three league matches this season and may be open for a transfer at €5m in the summer. Liverpool tried to sign the player during the Winter transfer window, but any move to sign the player was blocked by Dortmund’s current manager Thomas Tuchel, further, Bundesliga side Hamburg also is looking to sign the player.
While Hamburg is said to be looking to add as much as 10 players during the summer, it seems like Liverpool is in advantage to sign the player as Hamburg may not have enough finances.
The player’s transfer fee and his wages may not be a problem for Liverpool, thus if they still want him they will sign him in the summer.
