Manchester United Transfer News: The Red Devils Asked To Pay Big Money To Sign Arsenal’s Defensive Midfield Target

Manchester United Transfer News

Louis van Gaal’s Manchester United side have been told to raise their original offer for Lazio star Lucas Biglia, as per reports. The Premier League giants had previously made a £17.6m bid for the Argentine international, who is currently with the Serie A outfit. Further, Italian media outlet Corierre dello Sport stated that the bid was rejected, with the club demanding close to £28m.

The Dutch manager has already signed two midfield superstars this summer, with Morgan Schneiderlin and Bastian Schweinsteiger both moving to Old Trafford.

Biglia would add some much-needed experience to the heart of the Red Devils’ side, with the 29-year-old superstar being a regular player at the domestic and international level.

His performances in the previous campaign have pushed Lazio back to the Champions League, which has seen his price rise by a huge margin.

Apart from United, the Gunners were linked with the star previously and could possibly look to sign him once again, after losing out in the race to sign Schneiderlin from Southampton.
