Tottenham missed the chance to go top of the table after they drew 2-2 against north London rivals Arsenal at the White Hart Lane stadium. It was Arsenal though who went ahead through an Aaron Ramsey goal but soon after the start of the second half found themselves 2-1 behind and with one man down after Coquelin’s rash tackle on Harry Kane earned him a second yellow card. However, the Gunners found the belief that they had been missing for some time and came back to level the score 2-2 after Sanchez’s wonderful strike late on.

David Ospina

Made a rare start for the Gunners after first choice keeper Cech was declared unfit due to a calf injury. The Colombian star made some excellent saves to deny Tottenham and exceeded the expectation of everyone. 9

Hector Bellerin

Wasn’t his usual attacking best but still earned him 2 assists with the rare opportunities he got. A little careless in defense at times, which could have turned out to be costly. 7

Gibbs

Returned to the starting XI after Monreal was ruled out due to an injury. Had a solid game at the game, tried to contribute in the opposition half as well. All in all a perfect performance to get noticed by the manager. 8

Paulista

He had a good game except a horrible deflection which could have resulted in an own goal. was seen a weak link by many but did well to prove his doubters wrong. 8

Per Mertesacker

Leader at the back, tried to encourage his troops even when the stakes were raised against them. Made numerous clearances and interception to stall Spurs attack. 8

Coquelin

The less said about his performance the better. Was sent off early in the second half after a brainless foul on Harry Kane. Put his team in deep trouble. 5

Elneny

Made his Premier League start after joining the Gunners in the January transfer window. Looked a little rusty at times but still adapted well with the speed of the game. 7

 

Aaron Ramsey

Tried to create against the Tottenham tide. He got Arsenal ahead with a beautiful backheel goal in the first half. Missed a glorious chance right at the end which could have won Arsenal the game. 8

Danny Welbeck

Worked tirelessly throughout the game in trying to create something out of the limited opportunities he got. Made an excellent pass to Bellerin which led to the first goal. 8

Alexis Sanchez

Looks to be getting back to his best after going through a rough phase recently. Was involved in everything that Arsenal up front. Scored the crucial second goal for the Gunners to level the match. 9

Mesut Ozil

Worked hard to create something but it rarely came off. Although he was efficient in sending the ball forward after the Gunners were pressed back following Coquelin’s red card. 7
