Liverpool player Martin Skrtel is looking for an escape route from the Anfield as he lost his starting place under manager Jurgen Klopp.
According to the player’s agent, Skrtel is set to leave the Merseysiders and as of now Besiktas are interested in signing the player. Although the player’s move to the club is not confirmed yet, his agent is 90% sure that he will be heading out of the Anfield in the summer.
Skrtel has struggled with injuries this season and got very few chances to play after returning to fitness. Having played 29 games this season, he ended up behind Dejan Lovren and Kolo Touren in Jurgen Klopp’s pecking order. Further reports suggest that the arrival of Joel Matip may push him further down the lineup, accelerating his move to the Turkish side, Besiktas after having spent nine years at the Anfield.
