Predicted Newcastle United Line-up To Face Arsenal In The Premier League

Newcastle United will be looking to make it four victories in a row in the Premier League, when they take on Arsenal at the St. James’ Park on Sunday.

The Magpies have pretty much secured their Premier League status for next season, following three critical wins over Southampton, Huddersfield Town and Leicester City.

Rafael Benitez’s side are now placed 10th in the standings, 10 points above the 18th spot with six games still left to be played. They will want to push further up the table with a win over the Gunners this weekend.

Martin Dubravka (GK) 

Since coming in during the winter transfer window, the 29-year-old goalkeeper has proven to be a reliable option between the sticks for the Toon. Has conceded only 5 times in 6 PL games, with 3 clean sheets to his name. 

DeAndre Yedlin (RB) 

The USMNT international has burst into life in the second half of the season. Has just a single assist to show for in the league, but remains a key part of the Newcastle setup.

Jamaal Lascelles

Jamaal Lascelles (CB) 

The club captain continues to be a steady and solid presence in the heart of the defence for Newcastle United. Will have to deal with the threat of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this weekend.

Florian Lejeune (CB) 

After an injury-ridden start to life at the St. James’ Park, the Frenchman has settled in well and has struck up a solid partnership with his captain.

Paul Dummett (LB)

The former Wales international is a regular at left-back when fit and will take the field against the Gunners on Sunday.

Matt Ritchie (RM)

The club’s top-scorer for the ongoing campaign with 6 goals and 4 assists in 31 appearances across competitions, the Spanish forward will be key against the Gunners.

Dwight Gayle (CF) 

The 27-year-old Englishman has scored 5 goals in the league this season, with just 2 coming in his last 16 games. Will want to improve those numbers.
