Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich were halted to a single point last night by Borussia Monchengladbach. The traveling side took the lead after 20 minutes through a disputed penalty from Thorben Marx. And though the Bavarians played brilliantly all through the 90 minutes but could not find the decisive goal to get all the three points. The only goal for Bayern was scored by youngster Xherdan Shaqiri which was his first Bundesliga goal for Bayern Munich to level matters just before the hour mark .
Despite the result Bayern Munich are still far ahead of their chasers leading Bayer Leverkusen by 12 points who have a game in hand.
