Bayern Munich Issues Threat To Manchester United Over This Transfer

Bastian Schweinsteiger has been the first German to join Manchester United and it has not been a smooth ride for the German world cup winner. Now with reports that the veteran German is training with the United reserves, his previous club has issued a warning to Manchester United about the player’s treatment.

As per various reports, Schweinsteiger has been told that he can leave the club in the summer in search of regular game time. While that is understood given that the 31 year old has not made any major impact at the club, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge is absolutely annoyed that the player is training with the Manchester United reserve team.

He issued a warning to the Old Trafford officials saying that this could lead to a problem for United in the future as players  may be hesitant to join the club. “I could hardly believe it,” he said. “One or two players are going to think long and hard about whether they want to go to such a club. Nothing like that has ever happened at Bayern Munich.”

Well one has to wonder in that case why did Bayern Munich sell him in the first place?
