Barcelona star Antonie Griezmann starts his own esports organization

French football star Antoine Griezmann is known for his love for gaming and has been playing online games for a long time. He was also banned from FIFA 15 after being caught out for buying Ultimate Team coins from a third-party.

After all that, he still seems to be interested in gaming and has announced the creation of his own esports team, naming it Grizi Esport. And the list of sports they will be entering into are Fortnite, League of Legends, Rainbow6 Siege, FIFA and CSGO.

His brother Theo Griezmann will also be helping him run the organization in the role of Head Manager.

The 28-year-old is one of the names among the top athletes in the profession and moved to Barcelona last summer. He was already popular during his time at Atletico Madrid, having won the Europa League and the UEFA Super Cup with the club.

Griezmann was a key component in the France squad that emerged victorious in the 2018 World Cup Campaign after defeating Croatia in the final. He also won the MVP award for his performance in the final.

His move to Camp Nou came amidst a lot of speculations and altercations. And since then, he has featured 26 times for the Catalan giants, scoring 9 goals in all competitions and setting up four.

However, this new adventure of managing an esports organization will not be an easy task for the Frenchman. He will have to bring in a balance between his career and the business, and would be hoping to make it work.

Grizi Esport is a high-profile organization and the former Atletico Madrid man has taken a huge step in the gaming world. And let’s wait and see if it turns out to be successful unlike Echo Fox, which is in deep trouble.
