Atletico Madrid are growing more confident of signing Diego Costa as the transfer window progresses. The La Liga giants have recently signed Kevin Gameiro but are still hoping to sign Diego Costa as per Metro.
The 27 year old was a major disappointment last season and the new boss Antonio Conte maintained that he wants to keep Costa at the club. However on Saturday Conte said that the future of Costa cannot be confirmed and has raised a major speculation that the player could leave Stamford Bridge in this transfer window.
Chelsea have recently launched a massive bid to sign Romelu Lukaku and even though their first bid £57 million has been rejected, the Blues are expected to make an improved offer with their next attempt. The resilience to sign the Belgian also have raised doubt among the club faithfuls about Costa’s future. To add more fire to the speculation, Costa has recently been posting cryptic messages on Instagram that few are interpreting as saying goodbye to Chelsea.
