Avoid Manchester United Defenders, Chelsea Players Are Safe Bet – FPL Tips

Fantasy Premier League  (FPL) game-week tips

Gameweek 10 has one of the most sought after Premier League matches. This is the week for Manchester derby and this week the derby should be a cracker one. While United are just trying to build on something, City are on a low at the moment having lost their Cup game to Newcastle. This would be a fantastic opportunity for the Fantasy Premier League  (FPL) managers to score some points and pip over their rivals. We take a look at some of the points that the managers must keep in their mind this game-week.

Manchester United with tough fixture

United overcame their Chelsea struggle in a respectable manner as they drew the game against a dangerous Chelsea side. This must have made the FPL managers extremely optimistic about United, but the fact remains that United still have one of the toughest fixtures in the league. They have three tough away games to encounter with Manchester City, Arsenal and a high flying Southampton not looking to give it without a fight. But the managers can also argue that they would still have home games against Crystal Palace, Hull City and Stoke City to score their points against. But it is true that now the managers would have to wait and see their approach against the bigger teams and only then make a decision. The likes of di Maria and van Persie may still do the trick for the managers, but the defenders should be kept out of the team.

Defensively Chelsea to earn big points

At the start of the season it looked like Chelsea have lost their edge in the defence and now the team would only rely on their attacking strengths  to glide them through the matches. But in recent times they have pulled themselves up defensively and now they have conceded just twice in the last four games. And they have the easiest set of games in the next six, providing enough opportunity for the Fantasy Premier League managers to score points aplenty. In their next few games they plays against QPR, West Brom, Sunderland, Spurs and Newcastle in their next six and the managers might be hopeful of them keeping a few clean sheets.

Sadio Mane looking as the bright option

Among the Southampton midfielders, Sadio Mane looking like the better option than Tadic at the moment. He has scored a goal in each of the last two gameweeks and now the Senegal star looks like a real deal at a price of 6.9 million. He was suffering from a knock, but he should be fit for this gameweek. He plays against Hull, Leicester and Aston Villa in the next three, but after that his fixture becomes a bit complicated. If the Fantasy Premier League managers want to invest in Southampton midfielders, this is the time.
