Aston Villa can move on from Tammy Abraham if they sign this £22million Brazilian starlet – agreed?

Aston Villa opinion: The Villans should sign Wesley Moraes

According to reports in the Telegraph, Aston Villa look poised to break their transfer record by signing Brazilian centre-forward, Wesley Moraes. Commonly known as Wesley, the 22-year-old has had a fantastic season for Belgian side Club Brugge.

Aston Villa will be getting a player who is physically strong very strong, which would make him ideal for the physical nature of the Premier Legaue. He is fantastic at winning aerial duels, making him a threat from set-pieces.

He also possesses a great turn of pace to go past defenders and loves to make runs in behind. He uses his strength to fend off players and holds the ball up to allow other midfielders to run beyond him, which makes him the ideal forward.

The Brazilian is also a fantastic dribbler. He has massively improved his finishing this season, making him an all-around striker. Dean Smith’s men had a fantastic run since his arrival, making it to the playoffs and then going all the way to the Premier League.

The Villans know what it takes to be a consistent presence in the Premier League and will need to strengthen massively if they want to see themselves for another year in the Premier League.

Their top goalscorer Tammy Abraham was on loan and his loan period has expired so it’s imperative that they look into the market for a centre-forward regardless of what happens with Tammy Abraham.

The figure being quoted is £22million, which would break their transfer record for Darren Bent but this the sort of ambition that must be shown if you want to even survive in the Premier League now.

And sometimes that isn’t enough either, as was the case for Fulham, who despite a lot of expectations failed to impress in the Premier League.
