Aston Villa News: Tammy Abraham is desperate about Chelsea return

Abraham has been a revelation for the Lions this season scoring a record-breaking haul of 21 goals. He became the first player to do so in the club’s history since 1981.

The striker also created a unique record of scoring in seven consecutive games for the Lions since 1933.

The English youngster believes he really deserves a chance at the Maurizio Sarri’s side next season.

“That’s the aim going into next season,” “As a young kid, I’ve always believed I will play for Chelsea. I always believe that.

“I think I have the ability to. I just have to, when I get the opportunity, grab it with two hands.”

Abraham entered into Stamford Bridge club’s main team after spending over ten years at youth ranks.

Having barely featured for the London club, the youngster was subsequently loaned to Bristol City and Swansea City.

And his wonderful spell at Villa Park has caught the eyes of many European clubs.

He also has a wonderful scoring record for England U-21 as the striker has netted eight goals out of 22 appearances and earned his maiden senior cap in 2017.

The on-loan striker later opened up about his relationship with Callum Hudson Odoi.

“He was always coming into my house, we didn’t really play together because he was a bit too young but he was my brother’s age.” “They’re good mates.

The 18-year-old is yet to play a game in Premier League and has been called up by Gareth Southgate for Euro Qualifiers.

Dean Smith’s side gained the timely momentum with four wins in their last four games and has moved to sixth in the Championship table.
