Aston Villa has now joined race with Newcastle for Andy Carroll’s bid. With new Liverpool boss Rodgers informing that Andy is free to find new club, Magpies showed keen interest in picking the English international. But Liverpool had already turned down attempts of Newcastle and West Ham insisting them for an offer of atleast £20 million.
With £20 million minimum offer needed by Liverpool put West Ham out of the race, but it is now Aston Villa who had shown interest in Andy Carroll.
Alan Pardew thought patience would bring Carroll’s bid lesser with West Ham walking out. But now Aston Villa coming in race for Carroll has created a new twist and turns in Carroll’s transfer because Aston Villa has agreed to pay £15 million for the English international.
With the Fans of NUFC expecting their “international hero” to become their “local hero” once again, we have to wait until what happens next.
