Assist King Ozil Shortlisted For Ballon d’Or

published :

Arsenal play maker Mesut Ozil makes the shortlist for Ballon d’Or. Arsenal’s record signing had already scored three goals and provided four assists this season for the Gunners.

In 2012/13 season, Mesut Ozil had scored 9 goals and also bagged 13 assists (in La Liga). Will these stats enough for the German international to win the prestigious award? Mostly ‘No’ is the answer as Ronaldo, Messi and Ribery are considered as the favorites to win it.
