Frustrated Chelsea fullback Ashley Cole blasted his team in twitter for not showing any passion to win the game following a 4-1 defeat against Atletico Madrid in the super cup.
Cole also apologized to Chelsea fans for their lackluster performance at the billionaires’ playground.
He tweeted,

In my opinion, Chelsea could have bought one deep lying play-maker like Modric instead of all those attacking midfielders and wingers they have signed. They need to start controlling the midfield more consistently in order to be one of the top teams in Europe.
