Arteta Warns Bayern, “If We Score First, Game Is On”

Arsenal face a mammoth task ahead of them tonight as they have to overcome a 2 goal deficit against Bayern Munich in their own back yard.

Arsenal midfielder Arteta seems to be confident about his side’s chances to qualify for the next round. He said,

“I think that we have very similar ways to play. We both like to dictate the game, to have the ball and Bayern I don’t think know how to play a different way.”

“I don’t think they’re going to sit there waiting for us, they’re going to attack with a number of players up front. We need to try and do our best in attack because we have some really good players.”

“Psychologically it’s tricky, those ties are really tricky because if we’re able to score one goal then psychologically it becomes a mind game. We can take advantage of that so we want to put the game in our favour as soon as we can and if we’re able to do that the game is on.”
