It has been a while since Swiss midfielder Granit Xhaka is linked with a potential move to Arsenal. While the player is reportedly set to leave his current club Borussia Monchengladbach this summer, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, however, has not disclosed whether the player is on the cards for a potential transfer to the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners are said to be keeping close tabs on the player, but during his weekly news briefing, Wenger did not disclose any news regarding Xhaka. According to the Frenchman they are currently preparing a list of players whom they will be looking out for during the summer transfers.
“At the moment we are starting to analyse players and get little lists of names, but I don’t think it’s the time for us to come out with names.
“I will send you the list if you want!”
We can already imagine how busy Wenger will be during the summer while he tries to add some players into the squad so as to keep the club’s hope for a Premier League title alive.
The Gunners are 11 points behind the leaders Leicester city and are currently preparing for their clash West Ham at Boleyn Ground.
