Arsenal fans have been unhappy since some time now and while Danny Welbeck’s goal was enough for the Gunners to beat Norwich city, the fans protest regarding the lack of progress at Arsenal under manager Arsene Wenger overshadowed the whole event.
While there are distraught fans on one side there are also some voicing their support for the Frenchman who has been an important part of the gunners for the last few years. Keeping this aside the Gunners followers are already looking ahead to the summer transfer window.
Arsenal are keen on signing Bayern Munich centre back Mehdi Benatia in the summer as Wenger looks for a partner for Laurent Koscielny. Further Villareal are keeping tabs on their former midfielder Santi Cazorla, who has had his current season marred with injuries, apparently Villareal wants their 31 year old player back from Arsenal. The Gunners are also looking out for Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski while they are also monitoring the situation with Borussia Dortmund’s Julian Weigl.
