Arsenal To Steal Lewandowski From Manchester United

According to the Express, Arsenal are ready to battle with Manchester United and Bayern Munich for the signature of Dortmund hitman Robert Lewandowski.

Gunners are staring at yet an another trophyless campaign. It is believed that under pressure Arsenal board is finally ready to splash some cash as they have allocated £70 million to Arsene Wenger to buy his targets. And the Arsenal manager is planning to spend part of his warchest on Robert Lewandowski.

Three way battle for Lewandowski

Lewandowski has shown consistent form for the Borussians in last few seasons and he is currently topping the Bundesliga goal scoring charts with 16 goals in 21 games. Manchester United were chasing the player for about an year now and they are ready to bid again in summer.

But Wenger is about to spoil the party of the red devils with a bid as he is not convinced that Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud can lead the attack for the gunners. Arsenal need a striker who can score more than 25 goals a season with some assists too. Wenger believe  Lewandowski fits the bill perfectly.

But the question is will he join Arsenal when United and Bayern are interested? We will wait and see. Arsenal are also linked with Fiorentina’s Stefan Jovetic.
