According to the reports in Daily Mail, Arsenal are chasing a 18-year-old wonder kid Alvaro Vadillo from Real Betis.
Alvaro Vadillo is touted as “the next Cristiano Ronaldo” in Spain. Vadillo’s play is very similar to Ronaldo. He is an inverted winger with lightning speed and loves to cutting in from the left wing. He is also good at step-overs.
Looking at his cons, his shooting and finishing skills are just average and he is just 5ft 11in, two inches short of CR7. So, he may never be as complete as Ronaldo, but still is one of the best young talents in the game.
Tottenham and Manchester United are also interested in buying Alvaro Vadillo. But it is believed that a bid of £5 m from Arsenal will be enough to lure the player to emirates.
Alvaro Vadillo could be the one for the future and is also available at a cheap price. It’s always good to get and develop these youth players, but Arsenal fans will hope these signing will not stop Wenger from splashing cash on spectacular signings that Arsenal board promised this Summer.
