Arsenal have agreed to pay Sami Khedira £100,000-a-week if he completes his proposed transfer from Real Madrid in January says reports from Metro.
The Gunners who have been chasing the German International all through the summer were not able to complete the transfer owing to Khedira’s huge wage demands and if the reports are to be believed, the defensive midfielder has agreed to move for £100,000-a-week salary package. The clubs had already agreed a fee during the summer and Khedira is free to move as per Spanish news publication fichajes.net.
Arsenal have had a terrible start to the season with only 2 wins from their opening 7 games and much of that has been pitted on the fact that they have not had a quality replacement at the back and a midfield that play hosts to an ageing Mathieu Flamini and Mikel Arteta who are well past their prime to play for a club that are competing for major honours.
Khedira is in the final year of his contract at Madrid and Arsenal are hoping to reduce the £15million fee that the Spanish club are holding onto.
