Arsenal close to signing Belgian centre-back Toby Alderweireld.
Arsenal are allegedly closing in on the signing of Toby Alderweireld from Ajax according to the Daily Mail and other sources in Belgium DeMorgen.
When told that Tottenham and Arsenal were watching him, he responded:
“When the time is right, I’ll change, but right now Ajax is the most important thing for me. I expect to play here after the winter break,” he said.
“Ajax is a very good club. It will not be hard for me to play here all my life and if I have to choose between Ajax and another club, there are not many I’d leave for. But clubs like Arsenal and Tottenham are great clubs and they will be a step forward.”
