Arsenal have the fourth lowest net spend in the Premier League, which is something surprising, as the club reportedly had a lot of money to spend before the summer transfer window opened. Now, England international Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has stated that the Gunners’ squad is happy with the business done by the club in the recently concluded transfer window.
Petr Cech arrived from Chelsea for £10m, as per reports from the Guardian, back in June, but the 22 year old midfielder insists the squad is in good shape.
He stated in his interview with talkSPORT, “We’re happy, Petr Cech is an amazing signing for us.”
“He’s already shown his quality – in the first half of that Liverpool game – (he showed) what an amazing keeper he is, and how much of an asset he will be to the squad.”
He further added, “If you look at the rest of our squad, we’ve got great depth and a lot of quality, and if you look at the likes of Danny Welbeck and Thomas Rosicky – soon to come back – we’ve got some really good options.”
