Wenger’s men will battle it out with Liverpool and north London rivals Tottenham in a race to sign Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette, reports Mirror.
Arsenal are definitely in the market for one more striker this summer and from the looks of it, cut price targets, Alexandre Lacazette and Josip Drmic look as the apparent options. Lacazette, 21, has had a decent season in Ligue 1 and has been called up for International duties with France recently. However, both Liverpool and Spurs are ready to pursue the youngster and the Gunners will have to pay no less than £10 million to acquire his services.
Lacazette recently admitted his desire to play in the Premier League: “I’m tempted to try and experience life abroad.
“Are Arsenal and Liverpool interested? An experience in another major league fascinates me.”
Do Gunners need Lacazette is another question, but is Lacazette Arsenal material? A striker who can help them lift the Premier League title?
