Arsenal signing this top-class Belgian speed demon would help them reach new heights under Unai Emery

Arsenal opinion: The Gunners should reignite interest in Carrasco

According to the Mirror, Arsenal target Yannick Carrasco has admitted that he does have a transfer offer on the table from a European side. The Belgian has been linked with a move away from China as he looks to make his return.

The Gunners were linked with a move for the Belgian in January but failed to make anything happen, adding only Denis Suarez instead. However, the Barcelona man failed to make an impact.

Arsenal making a move for Carrasco now would help them hit new heights in the near future.

Now 25 years old, the talented forward has spent the last two years in the Chinese Super League after making a move in February 2018.

However, the question for the Arsenal is if they have to reignite a move for Yannick Carrasco. And who in this world doesn’t need a talented, speedy winger in their squad!

While Arsenal do have Alex Iwobi, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and even youngsters like Reiss Nelson, Carrasco would be an exquisite addition. The twinkle-toed Belgian has not just the skills to thrive in the Premier League, but thanks to a background in street football, he knows how to play rough.

But given the physical and rough nature of the Premier League, there are a few doubts about whether or not he might be rusty after playing in China, but he has responded well while playing for Belgium.

Often used as a wing-back for his national side, the 25-year-old has gone with the flow, never complaining and always giving it his all. That’s something Arsenal boss Unai Emery demands from his stars and it’s exactly what Yannick Carrasco will give him.

The 25-year-old needs to make a move to change the course of his career and at his age, he still has a lot of time to change it and start proving himself once again.
