Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is now on the verge of returning to training next week, as per a report from the Daily Express. The 23 year old England international suffered a hairline fracture in his left fibula while training, prior to the Gunners’ Community Shield triumph over London rivals Chelsea in August. The young, energetic midfielder looked in good form in the pre-season games and it was disappointing to see him sidelined just before the start of the new campaign.
At first, Wilshere was expected to return within just days of the injury, yet when examined further, it was revealed that he would miss the start of the season as well. Despite that, the superstar is now recovering well and is expected to be fully fit in the next few days, with a possible return next week.
The north London side play Stoke City next in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon at the Emirates and Arsene Wenger’s side would be expected to earn all three points at home.
