According to reports, Arsenal are preparing a £10m bid for Spanish U-21 defensive midfielder Asier Illarramendi.
The 23-year-old had a superb season, helped his team to a formidable league position. He even attracted interest from big clubs like Madrid, Milan and Arsenal.
Illarramendi is currently playing for Spain in the European U-21 Championships.
Asier Illarramendi is very similar to Arteta but with more defensive abilities. He is physically strong with good pace and strength. He has good passing vision and interception skills too. Only worry is the lack of height, but still he would be a very good signing for any top club.
