Petr Cech 6.5
The former Chelsea man could not do anything about the Grabban’s goal. Apart from that goal, he had hardly anything to do in the first 70 mins. Then he saved a deflected cross that was going in with a brilliant dive to his left.
Hector Bellerin 5.5
One of the nights in which the Spaniard was clearly not at his best. He was good defensively but was way below his best while going forward.
Per Mertasacker 5
The Arsenal skipper did not have much to do as he was hardly tested by the Norwich attack.
Laurent Koscielny 5
The Frenchman was substituted just after 8 minutes due to an injury.
Nacho Monreal 6.5
By far the best Arsenal defender last night. Monreal was good defensively and also while moving forward, he posed a threat to Norwich time and time again.
Santi Cazorla 7
Cazorla had a better night when compared to his teammates as he started attacks from deep, dribbled past Norwich players with ease. Looked like he was suffering from an injury but was alright and continued. Earned a yellow card for diving.
Mathieu Flamini 6
Flamini was called in as a replacement for Francis Coquelin, who is out till February due to injury. He was reliable in shielding the defence, but Arsenal would be missing the services of Coquelin.
Aaron Ramsey 6
Ramsey returned to the Arsenal squad after an injury, but he looked good initially with his link-up play with Ozil and Alexis. Later on in the game, he faded away.
Mesut Ozil 8
Ozil saved Arsenal from the blushes as he scored the Gunners’ only goal with a lovely finish. Had some really good moments in the game.
Alexis Sanchez 8
Consistently found the space to draw Norwich defenders into mistakes. It was little surprise that he was well-placed to profit for the opener. An excellent performance was cut short on the hour with an utterly predictable hamstring injury.
Olivier Giroud 4.5
Simply, it’s a night to forget for the Frenchman.
Joel Campbell: 6
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain: 6
