Arsenal try for a one on one swap deal with Celta to land Spanish forward Nolito. Arsene Wenger has set eyes on Spanish player Nolito and is adamant to get him playing for the Gunners. He has offered Joel Campbell to Celta in return of Nolito.
Nolito who plays for Celta De Vigo as a left winger or forward, started his career with lower league clubs till he signed for Barcelona in 2008. After 3 years with Barcelona he moved to Benfica where he was loaned to Granada before joining Celta in 2013.
Wenger’s makeweight for Nolito, Joel Campbell is a Costa Rican forward. Campbell joined Arsenal in 2011 however, he spent his first three seasons on loan to three different clubs in three different countries namely Lorient, Real Betis and Olympiacos.
It will be interesting to see how this deal will turn out to be with a swap in the picture only time will tell whether Arsene Wenger manages to get what he wants.
