Latest reports from Spain suggest that former Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas could be sold by Barcelona if they receive a bid more than £25 Million. With more than £70 Million available for Wenger to spend in transfer market, Fabregas return is realistically possible now.
Daily Express contradicted these reports as they linked the former Arsenal skipper with a move to Manchester United and he is expected to be David Moyes’ first signing for Manchester United.
Move to England will be a good one for Fabregas as he is currently struggling to earn a permanent place in the Catalan’s squad. His premier league experience will help him much to regain the formidable form that he showed once as an Arsenal player.
A clause in his contract enables Arsenal to have the first option to buy Fabregas if Barcelona are willing to selling him, but will Cesc return to a club who’s primary ambition is just to qualify for the champions league? Or his love for Arsenal will lead him to Emirates again? We will wait and see how this saga ends.
