According to the latest reports from Nigeria, Arsenal are preparing a 6 million pounds bid for 21-year-old VVV Venlo striker Uche Nwofor.
Uche Nwofor’s recent showings on the pitch earned him comparisons with the likes of Christian Benteke. Nwofor has all the ingredients to be a successful striker. He is physically strong with good pace and finishing skills. He had scored 10 goals last season for his club VVV Venlo. He earned international call up despite his club relegated from Dutch top flight.
Nwofor is not expected to be the main target for Arsenal this Summer. He will be just a backup buy if Arsenal fail to land any of their top targets (Suarez).
Tottenham, Benfica and Chelsea are also in the race to sign Uche Nwofor.
