Arsenal Latest Including A Potential New Buyer For Chamakh And Galatasaray Targets Santos

West Ham boss Sam Allardyce wants Arsenal flop Chamakh at Upton park. Allardyce has taken the desicion after weighing up Andy Carroll’s future at the club and feels that the out of favor Moroccan could be a perfect fit for his team.

According to reports from this morning, West ham has opened talks with Arsenal to bring in the player during the January transfer window after Liverpool’s on loan striker Andy Carroll has found it difficult to impress West Ham boss.  Sam Allardyce believes that Carroll’s £90,000-a-week wages could be better spent on other players than wasting it in a single player without much in return and according to Carrol’s contract clause, he can leave Upton park and return to Liverpool. This has made the manager to think about other potential targets and Arsenal man has fallen in to the prime target category.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger would not have much to say about the move as he would be more than happy to find a club that will take his out of favour striker. However, West Ham are also looking for the possibility of striking a loan deal for the striker in order to buy extra time for Carroll to prove himself until the end of the season as he is already out of the game until February with a knee injury.

As far as Chamakh is concerned, he would savour the offer from West Ham to get some regular game time in a bid to recover some form. The Moroccan has not played a single minute in the league this season, with his only involvement being in the Capital One Cup and in the Champions League when Arsenal had already qualified for the knockout stages.

Galatasaray wants Andre Santos:

Turkish club Galatasaray wants to sign Arsenal flop Andre Santos and has made an offer of around £2.5million to land the Brazilian in Turkey. However Arsenal have rejected the offer demanding a minimum of £5m from Galatasaray as they want to recoup the £6.8m they paid Fenerbahce last season.
