Arsenal Keen on Signing Danish Striker, Who Could Surely be One for the Future

Premier League giants Arsenal are now looking to make a move for Ajax forward Viktor Fischer, in the January transfer window, as per reports in Italy. The Denmark international is at present considered one of the brightest prospects in the continent though he has some issues with a back recent back injury. The 21-year-old left winger has been linked with a move to the Premier League previously and the Gunners are keen on completing a move for his services.

It has been reported by Calciomercato that the north London side are keen on signing the Dane, as they look to add more quality attacking options to their squad. Manager Arsene Wenger had been previously criticised in the media, as they did not sign an outfield player in the summer transfer window, when it seemed evident to most of the fans that Arsenal were in need of a few at least.

Further, it was also revealed just after the window was closed that Danny Welbeck would need knee surgery and would miss the first part of the season. Keeping that in mind, Fischer, who is contracted to the Dutch outfit till June 2017 could be one key target for the Frenchman’s side, once the transfer window is open again.

The young superstar has scored a total of 17 goals in 55 league appearances since his debut for the club three seasons ago and is surely one for the future. He could be quite useful to the London giants, especially if players like Joel Campbell and Yaya Sanogo leave the Emirates in the upcoming seasons.
