Arsenal are in a great form at the moment sitting top of the table in both premier league and champions league. But still they have some problem of their own in the name of ‘injuries’.
Flamini who has been a key player for the Gunners this season was sidelined since suffering a groin injury picked up during the 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace last month. Speaking ahead of the Liverpool game, Arsene Wenger said: “He is a short-term injury, he could be available for Manchester United. He is out for Liverpool and Dortmund.”
Jack Wilshere’s condition is still uncertain. The 21-year-old suffered an ankle injury during the training. Even though the knock is not believed to be serious, Wenger would not like to take any risk by urging his comeback, keeping in mind that Wilshere was out for 17 months last time when he suffered an ankle injury.
Other Arsenal stars Luckas Podolski and Theo Walcott are also very close to returning to full fitness.
