Arsenal Injury Update: Massive Boost As Two Super Stars Return

Arsenal travel away to Stoke City in what could be a tricky game for the North London Club. Wenger will look to get maximum points out of this game as they cannot afford to lose any more points in the league title race.

Arsenal Injury News

Finally some good news in the medical (injury) front. Mesut Ozil who missed the previous match due to a leg problem is back again. Arsenal captain Thomas Vermaelen is also available after a long injury lay-off.

Wenger announced the news in his press conference (Arsenal.Com),

He said,

“We have uncertainties about Monreal who had to come off last week with a foot injury, and about Gibbs. Vermaelen is back in the squad, Ozil is back in the squad. Both are available.”

“If needed Thomas can play there, it’s not his preferred position and he has been out for a long time now but we’ll see. I still have 48 hours to make a decision.”
