According to the latest reports, Arsenal are very much interested in signing a 15 year wonder kid Mile Svilar, who is tipped by the media as the “next Thibaut Courtois.”
Mile Svilar is currently a part of Belgian club Anderlecht’s youth academy. His impressive performances in many youth tournaments has caught the eye of many premier league clubs including Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United. Svilar has won multiple awards already including ‘best goalkeeper’ awards at the Aegon Future Cup, PSV Otten Cup and the Copa del Agatha this year.
The young Belgian goal keeper already had a trial with Chelsea and now Arsenal and Manchester United are trying their best to lure the rising star to their academy.
Denying these reports, his father Ratko Svilar (who is a former professional goal keeper too), says his kid will not leave to premier league till his 2oth birthday.
He told Nieuwsblad,
“He has trialled at Chelsea and Manchester United also enquired. Everyone wants him.
“But we already have an agreement with Anderlecht, even though he can’t sign a contract until his 16th birthday.
“There is nowhere better for him than Anderlecht. At his 20th birthday, we’ll see.”
