Arsenal Fan Favourite Struck In The Middle Of A Transfer Conundrum As Club Demands £15m From Serie A CLub

Arsenal has recently confirmed that Roma will have to pay £15m if they want to sign the Polish shot-stopper Wojciech Szczesny.

Szczesny spent his 2015/16 season in Italy with AS Roma and it was quite a a beneficial spell. He made 42 appearances for the side and managed to keep 9 clean sheets as well.

As Arsenal now have Petr Cech between the sticks, Szczesny will have to work hard to beat the Czech star at Arsenal. The Polish international has admitted he would be open to continuing at Roma, while, on the other hand, Arsenal are also ready to extend his stay.

It is reported that, Roma will be trying to negotiate a lower offer with Arsenal – thought to be around £10m.
