It is perhaps a bit harsh on us to leave Adam Lallana out of this as he has had an equal part to play in Liverpool’s attack. However, this is supposed to be an article about partnerships and we’ve narrowed this one down as much as possible! Quite frankly, these three are a sensation this season, and you couldn’t ask for more in an attacking three. You have the trickery, passing and dribbling of Coutinho. The endeavor, passing, unselfish play and finishing of Firmino. And you have the sheer pace, dribbling and ability to scare the life out of his opponents of Mane. They have scored 11 goals between them so far and that tally is expected to skyrocket as the season progresses.

De Bruyne & Aguero – Manchester City

This is the double act that Manchester City are built on and it is easy to see why. They are two of the best players in world football. With De Bruyne, you have an all-action attacking midfielder, capable of inch-perfect passing and incredible long range shooting. Whilst you only need one word to describe Aguero – deadly. De Bruyne has been one of the standout performers in the Premier League so far this season, scoring 2 and assisting 4. He also has 3 Champions League assists. Whilst Aguero has scored 8 in total, 5 coming in the Premier League. The main worry for Guardiola is that both are prone to injury. Already he has seen them both on the sidelines on a small spells . If City are to fulfill their early season promise and win the Premier League, keeping these two fit is absolutely vital.
