Arsenal are looking to strengthen their squad in all departments. Recent reports suggest that they are interested in signing Hamburg’s Rene Adler to help solve their goalkeeping problems ahead of next season.
All three Arsenal goal keepers Mannone, Wojciech Szczesny and Lukas Fabianski are not consistent enough to book a permanent place in the squad. This has forced Arsenal to turn their focus to Hamburg stopper Rene Adler. Scouts from the north London club are present at most of the Bundesliga side’s matches to keep a check on the Germany international.
Adler, 28, could be available for £5 million. But according to the German sides’ sporting director Frank Arnesen, they have yet to make an official approach for the German international.
Arsenal are also interested in Begovic or Mignolet.
