Alan Pardew is unhappy with the timing of Arsenal‘s move Yohan Cabaye and claims the result against Manchester City would have been different if the French midfielder had played.
So Cabaye din’t play because Arsenal made a bid? We are a little confused here.
The widely reported £10 million bid for Newcastle United midfielder Yohan Cabaye by Arsenal was so disruptive yesterday that it cost Newcastle all three points, resulting in a 4-0 defeat to Manchester City. Newcastle are now propping up the table.
Although, £10 million for Cabaye is a little under his value (What are they smoking at the Emirates really?). Newcastle Manager Alan Pardew doesn’t ‘think the result would have been the same if he had played’.
