According to Daily Mail, Arsenal are ready to break their club record with a £30 million bid for Borussia Dortmund play maker Mario Gotze.
Mario Gotze is identified as the top priority target in Summer by Arsenal manager Wenger. He believes the young German will lead them back to title contention again.
Gotze is now one of Europe’s most exciting talents, being an integral part of the Dortmund side that has won back-to-back league titles, also helping them to reach the last four in champions league.
Arsenal have been regularly criticized for being stingy in the transfer market for past few seasons. So signing Gotze would satisfy the clubs supporters who have grown disillusioned and frustrated with the clubs transfer dealings and lack of trophies for more than seven years now.
Toulouse midfielder Etienne Capoue is also rumored to be in Wenger’s radar. Some reports claims that Arsenal already made an initial inquiry for £10 million rated midfielder.
