Arsenal And Chelsea To Fight It For Fellaini

London giants Arsenal and Chelsea are closely monitoring Everton’s talisman Marouane Fellaini as both the clubs look to add some steel to their midfield. Few weeks back Fellaini hinted that this season may be his last season at merceyside kindling the rumors further.

London teams battle it out for Fellaini

Both Arsenal and Chelsea are bit weak in the middle as they lack a player who can link defence and the attack effectively. Arsenal never replaced Alexander Song and for Chelsea even though Mikel is doing a fair job with his defensive duties, he is slow during counter attacks and probably the weakest link in the squad. Fellaini may be the exact solution what both the club need right now. He has amazing ball control both aerially and with his feet. Fellaini’s play making abilities worth a mention too.

Everton manager David Moyes also hinted that the Fellaini’s departure is possible. He said,

“Everyone knows where Felli is, they know where to come and watch him and they also that it will be a big price if they are interested,”

“I was dead against losing any good players but  I also realize that if I have top players and can’t give them trophies, cup finals, European football, I might have to accept that’s what they’re thinking.”

“I hope Felli knows what I think of him and more than anything, I know he’d love to take Everton into the Champions League, which is what we are trying and achieve this season.”
