Puma and Griezmann over the years

Puma has been in Griezmann’s kitty since the start of his career. Despite many rumours of them parting ways, the two have kept the association alive.

In 2017, Puma even launched a boot line after Griezmann’s name in an effort to celebrate his 10 year anniversary of his professional debut/

To honour this moment, An co-designed with PUMA the “Grizi 10-year edition” football boot.

In 2016, the Frenchman became an overnight sensation after an advert of the brand featuring him broke the internet.

The commercial saw the talismanic striker, who is known for his ‘Hotline Bling’ goal celebration, helping guys with their girl problems.

The actual origin of the celebration is debatable. Some believe it to be a nod to surfer culture, much in the way Ronaldinho used to celebrate.

Others believe it’s a shout out to hip-hop’s biggest star, Drake, and his top 1 hit “Hotline Bling”.
