Ambrosini And AC Milan Fined

It was the derby clash in Seria A last weekend. The Italian giants Inter Milan and A.C Milan locked horns for the first time this season and Inter came out to be the winners with a 1-0 score line thanks to an early goal from Samuel. But the game had some other highlights as well, Milan fans were arguably angry over their former player Antonio Cassano, who now plays for Inter and there were banners held insulting  the forward.

And during the match it is said that Milan captain Massimo Ambrosini had used unruly words with the referee for which the player gets a one match Ban. Italian sports newspaper, Corriere dello Sport, reported that Ambrosini, who was only a sub and was not used in the game, gave the referee, Paolo Valeri, some heated complains during the half in the tunnel that lead to the locker rooms.

Ambrosini continued his actions even after the game and eventually went inside the pitch to confront the referee, Valeri. The Italian FA has decided to give him a one-game ban and also charged AC Milan 8,000 Euros, for allowing their fans to hold banners about their ex – player Antonio Cassano.
